The Southeastern Idaho counties needed a new facility to house the district health operations.  JHS was given the challenge of meeting a very ambitious budget and schedule.

The project was completed in 90 days of total design time.  The project bid and was completed for a cost of under $68 per square foot.  The project bid at such an attractive level that the owner was able to purchase $150,000 worth of office systems furniture with project budgeted funds.  It was built during the winter of 1997-98 in a speedy 9 months.  Designed with simple shapes, modular structural systems and utilizing off-site fabricated wall panels, the project set records in all the categories of design time, construction cost, and construction time.  This project was accomplished in joint venture with CSHQA Architects and Engineers, of Boise.
